Congratulations to author David Kirkpatrick! His book, In Praise of Strong Women tied for the Silver Medal for Western Canada at the 2010 Independent Publisher Book Awards (IPPY Awards) in New York City.

The silver medal was awarded to David in NYC during a gala event on May 25, 2010.

Following studies in Ohio, Atlanta, Augusta, San Francisco, Anchorage and Vancouver, David has been practicing psychiatry and psychotherapy since 1978.
