Home is where the heart is! Duane Lawrence, author of Sammy Squirrel and Rodney Raccoon: a Stanley Park Tale and Sammy Squirrel and Rodney Raccoon: to the Rescue paid a visit to students of John Allison Elementary in his hometown of Princeton, BC. While there, he was interviewed by Michaela Garstin for Similkameen Spotlight.
Duane was born in Princeton, spent nine years in Japan teaching English and now lives in Vancouver where he teaches high-school French. His visits to elementary schools are engaging as well as interactive – be sure to rest your vocal chords as they will get plenty of exercise!
