Brian Hayden @ Gibsons & District Public Library

\

BC author and SFU emeritus archeologist Brian Hayden reads from his new novel, The Eyes of the Leopard, set in Stone Age France amongst giant mammoths, cave lions, and painted caves. Thirteen-year-old Sev and his family are grudgingly accepted into the Bear Clan. When his father gets deeper into the mysterious group of shamans who commune with spirits, Sev accepts a dare to enter their forbidden cavern and unravel their secrets—risking exile from the Clan. An exciting adventure for teens and adults.
